Notes!, 2002-09

Factorial is a mathematical function, expressed by the symbol !, for calculating all possible combinations of n items. In this series, it is used as a compositional device for 5 musical notes. There are 120 combinations of the order of 5 notes. Each combination was assigned a number and random sets of 120 numbers were generated, each totaling 600 notes.
